Benjamin Elbel: Dos rapporté

Afhankelijk van de lichtinval wordt het onderliggende decor meer of minder zichtbaar.

Depending on the light, the underlying decor is more or less visible.

 

De inspiratie voor het banddecor kwam van deze illustratie.

The inspiration for the decoration came from this illustration.

 

In het begin van het jaar organiseerde ik in Antwerpen mee een workshop Dos Rapporté gegeven door Benjamin Elbel.  Benjamin is een Franse boekbinder die werkzaam is in Londen. Zijn werk is een frisse wind in het boekbindlandschap en stelt traditionele structuren in vraag. Voor meer info over Benjamin Elbel kan je terecht op : http://www.behance.net/boundbyben . In the beginning of the year I organized a workshop in Antwerp with Dos Rapporté. The workshop was given by Benjamin Elbel. Benjamin is a French bookbinder who works in London.
