Een blik achter de schermen: het manuscript. Bovenstaand enkele scans van het originele manuscript. De boekband is in slechte staat. Ook de tekst is op vele plaatsten erg toegetakelt. Niet in het minst door een kinderhand die er sommen en kribbels in heeft neergepent. Verder is er op 2 plaatsen met deskundige hand een halve blz. uit gesneden (zie bovenste scan). Ondanks deze bedenkelijke staat is de inhoud van het manuscript uniek en biedt het een bijzondere inkijk in het boekbindersvak van de eerste helft van de 19de eeuw.
